TIP #2: Widen the lens through which you see yourself. You are different in a good way.

The coaching process is primarily conducted in a relaxed conversation-based setting. You and I discuss when, where, and how your brain works effectively and ineffectively. I listen intently for indications of how your brain is affected by ADD/ADHD. I notice clues that inform me on your learning style and use this information to optimize your ADD strategies. I educate you on ADD or ADHD in general, as well as specifically on how your ADD/ADHD is affecting you.

We work together to strategize systems to help you ease the stresses of daily life. We develop prioritizing and organizing systems that assist you in becoming more effective and consistent in performing your responsibilities.

I encourage you to explore new behaviors — yet still hold you accountable for your actions — as you re-build your self-confidence and self-esteem. We explore what you love to do, and how this can become a bigger part of your life. This can become a calm place for you to remind yourself of your talents and desires.

I will cheer your genius as you uncover it a little bit at a time.
